Tesla’s New "Folding" Superchargers Promise Faster and Cheaper Deployment

Tesla has unveiled a next-generation Folding Unit Supercharger design to drastically reduce time and cost associated with station installation.

Building on the success of their prefabricated units, this new design focuses on a modular, fold-out architecture that simplifies the on-site construction process.

Intel Joins Musk’s $25 Billion "Terafab" Project to Build Tesla’s Chips

Intel would join SpaceX, xAI, and Tesla to help build Terafab, a $25 billion chip manufacturing facility in Austin, Texas.

"Our ability to design, fabricate, and package ultra-high-performance chips at scale will help accelerate Terafab's aim to produce 1 terawatt a year of compute to power future advances in AI and robotics," Intel wrote in a post on X.

Intel's share price went up by nearly 5% after it announced the partnership with Musk.

The End of an Era: Tesla Ends Custom Orders for Model S and Model X

Tesla has officially ended custom orders for the Model S and Model X, two of its original flagship luxury vehicles. As inventory dwindles, Tesla has raised prices for the remaining units in the US by $15,000.

Tesla will focus its manufacturing and infrastructure resources on high-volume platforms like the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck.
